A talented negotiator and litigator, Whitfield “Whit” Logan’s ability in a courtroom instills confidence in his clients. Whit is quick to adapt and develop effective solutions for complex legal problems.
Whit joined Whitaker Bell as a second-year litigation attorney who has represented clients in numerous matters involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, commercial and insurance disputes, as well as medical malpractice. Whit was recently admitted to the bar in 2020 and has since used his talent and ability to successfully manage a large docket of clients.
Whit double majored in political science and history from Louisiana Tech University in 2017. From there, he went on to earn his J.D. in 2020 after graduating in the top of his class at South Texas College of Law Houston. While in law school, Whit served as an award-winning oral advocate for South Texas College of Law’s nationally ranked advocacy program. As an advocate, Whit and his team secured several awards including best appellate brief and placing in multiple nationwide moot court competitions.
Before attending law school, Whit worked as an associate consultant for a bipartisan political consulting firm operating out of Washington, D.C., Chicago and Louisiana. Whit also worked on the Hill as a legislative assistant, with a focus on developing legislation related to agricultural subsidies, healthcare, aviation industry regulation and tax reform.
Whit is an Eagle Scout who still loves spending his free time camping with his amazing wife and two adorable labs.

Not only have our lawyers secured the recovery of millions of dollars, they have also been instrumental in several facilities staying in business so that they can continue serving their communities. New agreements have also been reached between payors and providers as a result of the work of our attorneys.
Such claims involve general premises liability litigation, including personal injury premises claims, malfunctioning equipment, alleged toxic exposures, negligent activity, and criminal activity on a premises.
