A California native with a lifelong interest in both medicine and law, Emma Brose brings a thoughtful, well-rounded perspective to her work at Whitaker Bell. Before law school, she worked in a medical office, where she developed a fascination with the human side of healthcare and the complex legal issues that come with it. That experience sparked her desire to pursue health law, which guided her throughout her legal education and into her career.
Emma graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, drawn by its nationally ranked health law program. While in law school, she competed in health law moot court and negotiation competitions, sharpening her skills as both an advocate and a problem solver.
Emma first joined Whitaker Bell as a summer clerk and knew right away that it was where she wanted to build her practice. She is excited to begin her career as an associate, working alongside a team that shares her commitment to excellence and client care.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys cooking and spending time with her adorable goldendoodle. Though she calls Texas home, she heads to Montana and Lake Tahoe whenever she can to ski and fly fish.
