Houston-born and raised, Kamrin Martin approaches her work at Whitaker Bell with care, precision, and a deep commitment to the people she serves. Her interest in the legal profession began early, and while attending DeBakey High School for Health Professions, she discovered a lasting passion for the intersection of law and healthcare.
Kamrin earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from St. John’s College in Maryland before completing her J.D. at the University of South Carolina—Joseph F. Rice School of Law in 2026. As a law student, Kamrin participated in the “CHAMPS” Clinic, a partnership between the law school’s pro bono clinic and local hospitals. There, she gained valuable experience as a student-attorney, navigating the complex legal and medical fields to advocate for clients and seeing firsthand how legal advocacy can shape the health of a community.
Kamrin joined Whitaker Bell as an intern after her first year of law school and returned as a summer clerk the following year. Through those experiences, she found a team that works hard, supports one another, and demonstrates genuine dedication to clients. She is proud to now join the firm as an associate.
Although Kamrin has greatly enjoyed traveling for her education, she is grateful to be back in her hometown with her family. Outside the office, Kamrin loves cooking for her family, reading, and traveling to visit friends.
