Michael is a trial attorney with a broad range of civil litigation experience. He is an award-winning legal writer and oral advocate who represents clients in business, commercial, healthcare, construction and employment disputes. With an emphasis on problem solving, Michael strives to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively with his clients’ best interest in mind.
Michael earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law – Houston, where he graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Michael served on the South Texas Law Review Editorial Board and competed as an oral advocate and brief writer for South Texas College of Law’s nationally acclaimed advocacy program. As a competitor, Michael won multiple best brief awards and speaker awards. In recognition of his advocacy, he received the Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy from the State Bar of Texas and the Dean’s Outstanding Advocate Award. He was inducted into two prestigious Orders: The National Order of Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy and the National Order of Scribes for excellence in legal writing.
Michael is also an Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law, where he teaches appellate advocacy and serves as a coach to the Nation’s #1 ranked Moot Court Program. He has coached teams to two National Championships.
Michael is a devoted husband and father. Michael and his family enjoy spending time with family and friends and playing in the great outdoors.
